7 fun facts about China

3. Chinese people love to dance! If you stroll through Beijing in the morning you will sometimes see the whole crew of a firm exercising and stretching on the street in front of the building. A thing that should be more common in the western world, too, if you ask me. Even in the parks people come together to dance freely an to shake it all of.

4. The Chinese style is different! Which you get aware rapidly when you look at the jewelry displays. I mean really?? ... who would...,why...on which occasion...I don´t know.

5. Toilets in China are the most sophisticated I have ever seen and I´m angry at myself that I didn´t take any photos of them. But in my defense how often do you take a camera with you if you need to pee. My favourite one you need to imagine like this.

6. Ever wondered why bridges go in a zigzag form for no reason and why every door has that little elevation in the door step which makes you fall over nearly all the time??

Answer: In Chinas mythology there are bad ghosts which are either very SMALL - so the barriers in each door will prevent the ghosts from entering, or TALL ghosts, who can only go straight forward!! ...which explains all the zigzag bridges and the walls at the entrance of restaurants which you have to evade.

7. The absence of diapers. Yes, really!! Chinese babies don´t have diapers!! Their pants have a hole so they can pee or even more in the moment, freely.
